Which Wide band?
I was wondering which wide bands do most of you guys run??? I'm running an Aem wide band at the moment and in the process of buying a new sensor for it.

Re: Which Wide band?
Been using innovate for long time in my race car and customers cars.
The best in its price range, and best place to buy it is from Xenocron.

Re: Which Wide band?
Is the LC-1 as fast as the MTX-L (upgraded the LC-1 on my Datsun to a MTX-L) ? Just wondering as I have AEM UEGO on my Type-R and looking to upgrade to a Innovative.

To the OP, the MTX-L would be a good upgrade...... Using the MTX-L with the AEM 30-6100 EMS

Ive seen 4 or 5 different friends have Issues with the AEM units. Reading way off and going through sensors rapidly. Used the NGK and it was a good unit. Used the auto-meter and loved it until the display took a **** and auto meter wouldnt work with me on it at all. Used a couple Innovate LC-1's and the control units took a dump on both. I use an Innovate LM1 for tuning others cars and love it. I have never had a single issue with anything PLX. I can always rely on an M300 to work. And i recently picked up a PLX DM-6 and i love it and their cheap.

Re: Which Wide band?
I love the NGK AFX. We have one our dyno w/ a NTK sensor and we also have a AFM 1000 lab grade setup. We have compared both widebands on the same car and the NGK is MAYBE a tenth off from the AFM. Almost every car I dyno tune has a AEM and I always put my dyno wideband in the downpipe and their sensor is ATLEAST .5 leaner then mine, if not a full point. And typically the sensors are within 6-12" of one another and both have a straight shot to the exhaust flow.

Re: Which Wide band?
Well this is my 2nd sensor I've gone through. One in the summer, and one a week ago. How far do you guys have your sensor from the turbo? I have a fender exit exhaust and I have mine about 18 inches from the turbo and probably another 12 inches from the tip so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it?

Re: Which Wide band?
Mine is about 8inches from the turbo
FYI. I kept 2 brand new sensors with me at all times. (Aem/Bosch sensor)
Switch to NGk ntk. And I keep one back up

Re: Which Wide band?
NTK sensor in our dyno gas, racegas, ethanol, methanol, diesel, left on for weekends on accident, etc, etc for 5 years! The NTK in our race car is going on year 4 without issues.
There's a reason NTK sensors are double the cost of the bosch sensor
