Default EcTune vs AEM ems

Target power should be around 600whp on race gas. Injector size is 1000cc. The car is street driven and would see some track time which is better for my needs and whats the pros and cons of both. I have both sitting in my room but dont know which would be a better option

depends on your tuner. If he really knows AEM then i would go with AEM. If he understands the other honda based systems then i would go with ectune if he is an authorized tuner.

ectune will never have the capacity of a properly setup standalone but that all relies on the tuner and you go back to my original statement.

With the AEM, you might have issues with high boost if you are not running a hall sensor. Thats really the only issue with the AEM, other than that its a pretty capable system. eCtune is cost efficient and gets the job done. I like it!

AEM EMS is so much more capable than the OEM ecu based systems. You can do more, log more and have a better end product and tune. There is no comparison between the two systems.

AEM EMS has a lot more options but a bit less user friendly compared to EcTune. For your case, i'd definitely go with AEM though due to all the boost friendly options that come with the program
