AutoLock makes noise!?
Anybody know how to fix this problem?
The problem is that every single time I press the car alarm "off" via the remote which automatically unlocks the doors, each door makes this loud buzz as if it is still trying to unlock the doors after it has already been unlocked. What could be causing this grinding/buzzing noise? A short possibly? How would I go about diagnosing and fixing this problem?
TIA.

Re: AutoLock makes noise!? (fcm)
The car is a 1995 civic hb cx. I'm pretty sure the door locks are factory, but the autolock feature may be from the alarm. I honestly don't know what brand this pos alarm is (it came with the car)...I'm new to alarms, so if you guys let me know how I can find out, I'll try to.
Side note: This did not happen when I first bought the car...just started the last 6-8 months.

What kind of remote do you have?
Or look under the dash for the brain and find the model usually located on the back of the alarm.

Are they costly to replace?

If they're stock, they'll look similar to the top rows...
If they're aftermarket, they'll look like the ones in the 4th row down..
They run about $20 per actuator...
