I havent dynoed my setup yet, any guess of what you guys think it would make?
Stock Jdm Itr 97spec, memory fab whale ***** intake, 4-1 megan headers, megan test tipe, megan drift spec exhaust, 255lph fuel pump, chipped and street tuned.
also is it ok to run a stage 1 cam with stock itr valve train? thanks lol.

id say around 180. the stage 1's will open it up a little more, but its almost not even worth it. those jdm type-r cams are still good cams. save up and buy a valvetrain, then buy a set of stage 2's.
its ok to run stage 1's on an itr valvetrain, but i wouldnt do it for too long.

Guys, we are building stock b18c3 (almost the same as gsr) bottom engine with b16a2 head.
Which ARP head studs should we use? B18C or B16A ones?
(we're putting performer, pro1's, headwork and custom header on it. Will let you know about results, guys)

Thanks bro . Yea stage 1 would be kinda stupid, Ill just save up and do it the right way. Would you recommend getting new valves as well, or are the itr ones fine? Thanks

i wouldnt recommend it. ive never ran aftermarket valves. i think they are a waste of money, in my opinion. your stock valves will be just fine. just valvesprings, retainers, and a good valve job.
and to looborr, i believe you want to use the b18c head studs. a gsr and b16 head are almost identical, but the block on the gsr is taller. can i ask why you are using the victor x performer?

im working on my first build, and im wondering about the driveability/ idle of stage 2 (blox or skunk2) vs. stage 1 cams. my cars going to be daily driven and winters pretty cold around here, do u think i'll have any troubles with a stage 2 cam? Are there any ways to tune for this? thanks for any advice

Re: (sofakingquick)
a skunk 2 stage 2 (not the pro sereis) and the blox stage 2 both have very mild non-vtec lobes, they would be great for driveablilty. feel alot like stock until vtec engagement

anothersickhatch, PerformerX is great manifold for semi-built B18

The cam really doesn't matter unless you're running something really radical. If you tune it well in the summer, it will run well in the winter. That is my own personal experience from running different types of cams year round.

No disrespect and nor am I saying that that I am the most knowledgable NA person on H-T but I dont believe this. Any dyno shots? How high did you have to rev to get there? Im only saying this b/c that TQ number is higher than most Lsvtecs and some B20vtecs.
