Re: (401tuner)
yeah, from what ive heard that header is only good for around 190-200whp anyways. ill always run my pro1's over the blox b's to be honest with you.

my camera sucks....it says 219 hp and 145 ft./lbs.
1.8 liter gsr bottom end (lightened and balanced) and gsr head (non-ported)
-oversized p30 pistons and a buddy club 2-layer head gasket
-skunk2 pro1 cams
-rc 310 injectors and walbro 255 fuel pump
-highend header and 2.5 in exhaust
-skunk2 intake manifold, jg 65mm throttle body, and comptech icebox intake.
tuned at church with hondata s100.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Nice build, almost my exact build except I think i'm going to run a performer X. How's the highend header?

Re: (kpowerdhatch)
the high-end header for the price is great. i had a 2.0 liter smsp copy header on there before and i gained 9 peak whp and about 14 whp mid range. also gained around 8 lbs of torque.
well worth the money. high end header ftw.

its a shop called tunerz image. really cool guys.
the reason i went with this header as opposed to a hytech replica, or any other 4-2-1, is because of the ground clearance. i havent scraped these in over a year.

Re: (SiB16A)
new dyno results, green graph was my previous results with stock b16 head and ctr cams.
added from previous tune
portflow head,
74-65mm taper t-body
s2s cams
fully tuned AFR, ign timing, and cam timing.. the dip at 6-7k couldnt be tuned out.. i think it has somethign to do with my exhaust setup- (catalytic with 2.25" exhaust), most liekly a resonance or engine breathing issue,
however, it looks quite text book as far as cam selection goes. CTR cams have a wide powerband from 5500-7300 rpm, producing 200 hub hp, while s2s2 cams have a powerband from 7200-8200 rpm producing 228 hub hp
car feels awesome on the top end

the conditions shouldnt matter if its sae corrected??? the corection compensates for temp, humidity, and elevation.. i thought so anyway, if not then why have a corection factor?

Re: (jime64871)
over the last month or so i've mess around with two different Skunk2 camshafts. Stage II's and Pro 1's, which are currently in the block.
Both of these ran good. From what i experience the stage II's where better for DD since the primary lob is almost as stock. But once your over VTEC it's a differento story. With this set-up i put down about 197 whp. Don't recal torque.
With the Pro 1's i think i have more issues to deal with. One the idle on the car is pretty bad right now. After the car was dailied in it ran smooth under normal temp. Once it was cold, completely different story. Anyways these cam put down 190 WHP.
So i have mix feeling about the both of them. Although i prefer Pro1's b/c it makes power throughout the RPM range compared to the Stage II's. Anyways as soon i get my graphs from my tuner i will post them up.
The Set-Up includes
B18C-R 98 Spec
Skunk2 Pro1 Camshafts
Skunk2 Tuner Cam Gears
Skunk2 Stock Hi-Comp. Valves
Skunk2 Titanium Retainers
Skunk2 Pro Valve Springs
Mugen 2 Layer Head Gasket
ARP Head Studs
Toda Flywheel
Toda Cluth
Toda Pressure Plate
Spoon Thermostat
Spoon Fan Swith
Spoon Rad. Cap.
Hondata Intake Manifold Cooler Gasket
RC 310cc Injectors
Walbro Hi 190 Fuel Pump
AEM Adj. FPR
PssWrd JDM Carbon FIber Intake Chamber (Whale *****)
SMSP Tri-Y Header
High Flow Cat. 2.5"
KTeller 2.5 Piping w/ Borla Exhaust
All tuned together by Hondata S200 on Hondata's P28
happy tunning!
