Default Fresh b18c1 build no oil pressure help

The gsr has a different cranck in it due a scorched crank so we rebuilt it with oem bearings it also has oem gsr oil pump we put it in. So we crank the car and noticed the light was on. So we hook a oil pressure gauge up and it's getting like 2-3 psi at idle we turn the car off send the oil pump back to Honda for another brand new one we get everything put back together and still no oil pressure. At this point I'm at a loss: new oil pump new oil filter new oil is there anything I'm over looking? Thanks in advance

how do you know you primed it? did you pull the valve cover to make sure oil was coming into the head? sometimes the pump doesnt get a seal and cant creat oil pressure easy. i always pour oil into the pump when its new.

pull the rear hex plug a put some oil into it and the try to prime it then

Did you clean the block and crank thoroughly? Were all the oil gallary's clean? Also, did you make sure the oil jet on the block deck was installed?

I never got more than 6psi on a gauge while cranking the engine with the starter or more than 20psi cold at idle. After spinning a bearing u must clean all oil passage ways and pickup like ruffrhyder said too.
