Exremely basic spark plug questions
I just bought a 2004 EP3 with just under 81k miles. It has a few, possibly ill-chosen, minor mods from a former owner: AEC short ram. DC Sports short header and Apexi WS2 exhaust from the cat back.
As a first step I'm going to change out all the fluids and I thought I'd put new plugs in it too. I'm confused about the choice between Denso IK20L and Denso
SKJ20DR-M11. The engine will always be naturally aspirated and I don't have any major engine mods planned. Which one to chose for a daily driver and why?
Any compelling reason to go with NGK instead of Denso?
Anything else I should consider at this time? The car is running well.
Fluid changes and brake pads are about the limit of of my wrenching skills and knowledge.

NGK's. All day, every day.
I work at an acura dealer where we do plugs daily. Want some real world advice? Denso's suck. I've occasionally experienced a misfire on new plugs using denso's. We don't use them anymore, needless to say.

I concur. Autolites are great plugs. ANd denso vs ngk, they are literally the same plug. Ive been selling autoparts for the last 10 years. They litereally come straight from the same manufacture. example.. autolite/motorcraft.. same plugs.. one cost more then the other..
