Re: What is Stock ITR Alignment Setting? (TillerMan)
alignment shop should know stock settings. Toe is the only thing adjustable in stock form and should be Zero.
Why do you ask?

Re: What is Stock ITR Alignment Setting? (Asahi)
well....
here are my numbers... I will be double checking them at another shop soon (long story)....
__________LF_____RF
camber: (-0.77)_(-0.79)
caster:..(+3.15)_(+3.03)
toe:......(+0.02)_(+0.01)
__________LR_____RR
camber: (-0.62)_(-1.36)
toe:......(+0.08)_(+0.10)
I had the shop set the toe. The modification I did was suppose to add more neg. camber and add caster in the front... the caster was changed but the camber was not what I expected.
The lackie was very reluctant to folow my advice while he was doing the alignment and insisted me that he was doing it the 'right' way.
The use of EG Cibbic upper a-arms is suppose to add more camber... swapping them from side to side will add caster... but the added camber was not impressive.
After I check the alignment at another location to make sure the #'s match... I will put the ITR upper arms back on (still swapped from side to side) and drive.
The car felt better on track...
but I did swaybar changes also... and I am not sure if the alignment or the bars made the 'feel' better.

Re: What is Stock ITR Alignment Setting? (Willard)
I have an alignment printout, from when I had mine done. It has the specs. on it.
i.e.
camber: range
caster: range
toe: range
for LF,RF,LR,RR
I can post when I get home from work @ ~7pm AST

can someone add this to the archives or FAQ...I have some alignment issues that I will need to be dealing with in the near future and Id like to have these available when I need them. Search doesnt seem to work most of the time. Thanks

Re: What is Stock ITR Alignment Setting? (RTW DC2)
by the way, since we are on the topic of camber, Im just curious what kind of camber you guys run up front. I seem to get a lot of wheel hop, and I pretty much have no camber at all up front, and Im just wondering if maybe I run a little more negative camber that will help with that. Do you guys typically run a little negative camber, or try to have the least amount of negative camber possible? I plan to get the Z10 bars so that should help but I want to get the least amount of hop possible before I get the bars. Thanks

Re: What is Stock ITR Alignment Setting? (RTW DC2)
I try to maintain right at or just under -2.0 degrees of negative camber. Works very well fo me. I have heard before cars will naturally "toe in" under acceleration and that you shoudl run toe out to compensate. I run 1/8" "toe out" but more for turn in than wheel hop.

So messing around with my camber, maybe adding some negative camber, could possibly help with my wheel hop situation? I am not sure what my toe settings are, but I will definitely keep it in mind next time I get the chance go get to the alignment shop.
