Its VTEC and solinoid.
I dont understand how you can not be getting a code? aside from no VTEC does it seem to run fine? are you sure the solinoid is getting oil pressure? power?

Are you being sarcastic?
Well if you have power, a constant ground and full oil pressure on the solinoid and no codes it must be working fine.
What makes you think its not working?
If you have a stock GSR its not loud with the oem intake.

Do you have a VTEC ECU? Harness? You might have to wire it for VTEC.

OK, well considering most vehicles I have owned i have put a VTEC motor in or have come with one from the factory I would assume I know what it feels and sounds like.
Well you need to give more info.
You have sid it has no codes and all groungs are good, oil pressure is good and the solinoid is working, what else can i tell you.
Are you sure your wiring is 100% correct?

Bad solenoid? What is the ID code on the side of the ecu? Are you letting it warm up? Also with a B16 Vtec isn't that loud or real noticeable unless you are using different cams.
