Re: Red96TurboLS build (oil pan to valve cover)
Right on, yeah his ECU is a beast. I've yet to meet anyone running a P61 but if anyone else has one, and have a S300 in there and the case doesn't fit right, desolder the knock sensor board.
As you know I fixed the issue, it was the activation pressure for boost control since I put the BOV and Boost Gauge on the vacuum manifold and the MAP right to the intake manifold instead of having it all teed off. I'm getting it tuned again on Monday for winter fuel and just make sure nothing is too off with the changes I've made (new turbo manifold, TiAL Q BOV, Vacuum Manifold and re routed the vacuum lines and closed many leaks that were present.)
Thanks for keeping up with the build and as **** progresses will keep updated. Will be tackling suspension, MFactory LSD install in a few months and a bigger turbo of course will upgrade axles soon too. Found a good deal on a pair of DSS 2.9s

Re: Red96TurboLS build (oil pan to valve cover)
so a quick update. the car is crazy powerful. more than i ever imagined going into this build. keep in mind i had a stage 1 clutch from previous years and a stock open diff with a synchrotech transmission carbon synchro upgrade. surprisingly it held up for over a year with more abuse than intended by the manufacturer and at 483 whp it finally shot the spider gears through the clutch housing. david at synchrotech is awesome and had one laying around and sent that out pretty quick and cost effectively. now going with mfactory metal plate lsd, cc stage 4 clutch, dss axles and a ksport suspension for this season. the dunlop direzza star spec z1 tires were insane at high plains raceway and cant wait for this season. will post pics in the next few days of the carnage. and to the guy that said an ls head cant breathe.... "it breathes for us." i bet with less drive train loss itll put down more this year.
