DA Glovebox Removal help!
I need to get the glovebox out of the DA (need to get to ac) but the damn thing is stuck. I removed the screws on the top that attach to the bar the latch hold on to, the screws on the bottom of the inside (covered by little caps). I think there were one or two more underneath that were removed too. I've looked everywhere and disconnected everything that is attached to the box but it still won't come out! I can pull the right side out a few inches, but the left side is still held firmly by something. I think it has something to do with the button on the left side (turns the light on when the box is open). Is there something behind there? I can't see anything, and there is only a tiny slot about half an inch wide so I can't feel in there or anything. HELP!!!

you dont have to take the blower out..
look on the left side and make sure you disconnect the glove box light too...
take the panel under the glove box off and look for some screws there...
if i had my helms here id help you out, but its at home...i just took mine out this summer..its not that difficult...be patient and look around some more...
maybe my old thread will help you out..it has pics of my glove box while it was taken out...

How do i disconnect the light? I can't get my fingers in there. I didn't think that this would be a problem because the wire leading to the light has lots of slack. I just figured I would be able to disconnect it after i get the glovebox out.
I removed all of the panels around the glovebox and every screw i could find connected to it. There's something else, only on the left side.

Yeah I think I did the same thing; I dont remember it was really easy if I recall. Maybe it did take some "umpf" to get it out.
Check out g2ic.com as well
I think the past 4 threads I've told people to go to that forum as well LoL

Re: (transpar_nt)
can you unscrew the light from the glove box or anything???
keep wiggling it around until you can unclip the harness...
i do remember it being a pita tho...something was stuck...like one of those annoying clips that acura puts on everything...
try pulling the glove box out and up or out and down or something..
