Re: NEED HELP QUICK!!! (Miguel)
c'mon... anybody help me out here?
My centre console is all disassembled, I just need to get this glovebox off!
Do I remove the 4 screws that are visible when you open the glovebox? (If so HOW?!? there is no room to play with)
OR
Do I remove the 2 screws UNDER the glovebox? please say this isnt it because I tried this and those things must have never been removed because they arent turning

I was hoping you wouldnt say that.
Last time the glovebox came off we used air tools to screw everything back in and those 2 screws are in TIGHT. Im trying my best to get them out but I dont want to strip the screws.
Now that the glovebox is hanging down, do I need to completely REMOVE it to get to the inlet for the HVAC?

Yes you are going to have to remove the glovebox as well as the blower motor/box to get to the air inlet for the HVAC. I would suggest you get a service manual to help you out.

What kind of a ******* idiot uses air tools to tighten bolts, nuts or screws on the interior of his car?!? That might be the dumbest thing I've read on this site in a while.

I agree... I came back to may car and caught him using the air tools. I freaked on him and he just bitched saying it was easier. That was the last ime I ever went back to that shop.
