blew up the tegra...
i believe i blew up my engine, it is snowing here so i wasn't speeding or driving hard and i shifted into 2nd and pow......so i pull over in the freezing cold and my cylinder 3 sparkplug was laying on my valve cover and my plug wire boot was ripped to shreds and i couldn't put my spark plug back in....apparently it mashed the threads. oil was shooting out my spark plug hole and now i have oil everywhere. any thoughts?

Sounds to me like ur spark plug threads basically gave out. Happend on my dads ford lightening.(Alot of those trucks have that problem, thank god for the warranty)
I dont think ur motor is trashed, just the head.
Im also from wi, and i always warm my car up for about 5 min before i go anywhere. I know it wouldnt cause the threads to give out but just to let u know. MUST WARM UP MOTOR WHEN COLD OUT!!!

i believe that something more is wrong, even if the threads did let go, why would oil be shooting out of the hole? i'm not so sure you spark plugs need to be lubricated, just a thought though.

Please base your opinion with facts on why should you be warming up your motor other then building up the oil pressure for less then a minute before you start driving!
I'm talking driving under 2500, not hard driving.
