Default B18B valve adjustment- where to take the measurement?

I did search "b18b valve" and got all the specs I could ever need and all sorts of valve cover ****, but no thread about WHERE the measurement is taken.

The rocker arm U shapes over the valve stem head, so do I take the measurement between rocker arm and cam lobe?

rocker arm and cam lobe it should be a easier way let me see if i can remember
step by step on tdc you adjust piston 1 7mm for intake 6m for exhaust ,crank 25%
and go to piston 3 than 4 than 2

BTW, when changing cylinders you have to crank the crank pulley over half a turn (cam pulley 1/4 turn).

Yes, I have a remote start switch to do this.

Its used to bump the starter so that you can get the timing marks to line up.

Yea, you'll never get it exactly dead up using that method.

Well seeing as I attempted to do by hand already(very difficult to gain leverage with car on ground) Ill take my chances. Ill know in a few days. Also this was the way recomended.

This will tell you pretty much everything you need to know to do a valve lash adjustment on your teg. I just did mine yesterday.

here are the proper clearances:

B18A
INTAKE: 0.006" - 0.007" (0.15mm - 0.19mm)
EXHAUST: 0.007" - 0.008" (0.17mm - 0.21mm)

B18B
INTAKE: 0.003" - 0.005" (0.08mm - 0.12mm)
EXHAUST: 0.006" - 0.008" (0.16mm - 0.20mm)

B18C
INTAKE: 0.006" - 0.007" (0.15mm - 0.19mm)
EXHAUST: 0.007" - 0.008" (0.17mm - 0.21mm)

well if I'm not mistaken, those numbers were taken from the Helm's manual...someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's where they came from.
