Yesterday, my car just shut down while i was driving...i thought it was the timing belt...anyways...it wasn't and it turned out to be the distributor...problem is, i just put in a brand new napa one and now it threw a code while i was on the freeway...it wouldn't let me accelerate pass 55-60 mph and kinda stalled or sputtered...i pulled over to re check everything and it all looks fine...i get in her again and now she throughs a code 4!!! WTF?! Help please guys...i needa get home!
Edit...its a 93 Civic Si Stock w. i/h/e

Yeah...im not too fimiliar with those internal sensors in the Distributors either...what i did since was replace that new one with another new one to see if that first one was defective...turns out the second one didnt help either...hmm...like i stated before, there's a slight hesitation under a heavy load...some are thinking it's a timing issue, but the car redlines fine and when you get on her, she doesn't hesitate...its almost like a slight mis fire. Help please!
EDIT!!! about the distributor...if i installed it wrong, will it start and could this cause the hesitation im feeling? Also, when the car died, could this have caused the timing to jump at all? jw
