Default would a 92-95 ex/si dist/dizzy work on a crx w/b16a1 (going obd-1)

whats up all, i am doing a obd-1 on my 91 crx si. i got the p28 ecu, 4-wire o2 sensor, 310cc rc obd-1 injectors, obd-0 to obd-1 harness from (newman, here on honda-tech) heres the deal, i am having a hard time finding a obd-1 dist, i know it came on the 94-95 gsr integras, would a LS obd-1 dizzy work, or a 92-95 si work, and how much should i look on spending, i really dont wanna pay more then $200. for a good or almost new working one. and want it to be complete.
a little help would be nice.

thanks all

Either of those should work, but you might have to cut off an "ear" so it clears the vtec solenoid.

for two hundred, you could get a brand new one from distributor king, and it'd be new. http://distributorking.com i'd go with that

i used an obd1 ls distributor on my 89 crx with a b16, i cut off the bottom right ear completely and left the bottom left. only the top ear you will be able to get a bolt in, but the left ear you could use a washer and hold it in place that way.

on the top one i had to dremel it out a little on the outermost part of the hole. after notching the sides i was able to get all three legs bolted down without hacking a leg off and still have adjustability of timing

Correct me if im wrong but the pics of the modified dizzy looks like its mounted to a SOHC VTEC motor. I think the guy who needs the info has a B16, so it really doesnt help him. If the distributor king has them for around 200 brand new, then thats the best price u will ever find.

edit: You cant keep the obd-0 dizzy when converting to obd-1.

Yeah he needs the dizzy for a b16, and the 92-95 ex are a d16z (sohc) not doch. like posted before, a 94-95 ls/gs/gsr dizzy will work, 94-95 del sol dohc si will work. but as far as i know a 92-95 ex/si dizzy will not work.

correct me if i am wrong

I'll be sure to link anyone to this thread who is in need of the how-to on dizzy modifications for their SOHC vtec motor while using their old Si dizzy.
