Default ~Easy header question~

This is fairly simple... Are there any differences between a 2-piece header and a 1-piece, other than the fact that a 2 piece, has well, 2 pieces? lol...

I mean, there's a little bit of a difference in price, but is there any differences in performance at all?

2 piece is a lot easier to install.

It depends on the car...I know on EFs its a bitch without a 2 piece but really on an EG/EK to install a 1 piece you just gotta do it from under the car.

Yea, I didn't think there would be too much of a difference in performance between the 2. But with a 2-piece I was just curious if there'd be any chance for a leak between the pieces allowing for the exhaust to escape... But they usually have good seals on them, so I thought I'd check before I bought any...

2 pieces weighs like 2lbs more than the 1 piece, that's pretty much the only performance difference here.

one piece is supposed to add more top end power and be lighter

two piece is a little heavier and supposed to be for more low end

I think you're confusing this discussion with the outdated "4-1 top-end, 4-2-1 low-end" concept.
