brakes upgrade for 94 ex couple
hi all
I am planning to upgrade the overall brake system for my 94 eg couple (ex).
Front brake
alot of people will suggest swaping the whole integra gsr front brake system, but as I understand, there's not big different except the calipers is bigger and the spindles is a bit shorter. (ex vs gsr only)
in that case, I am not too sure if it's worth to just swap the gsr caliper in my EX. (and I am not too sure if it's possible without some mod.) Or should I upgrade the disk to 11" w/ a bigger caliper?
I wonder if anyone can tell me if I can
1. keep the 4X100 bolt pattern
2. keep everything fit within 15" wheels
3. avoid ginding the material away (the calipers)
4. avoid redrilling the rotor ( I just don't want to buy a rotor and ask someone to redrill everytime in the future)
when I upgrade a bigger brake system.
I am think to buy a fastbrakes kit, but before that, I want to know if it's possible to get a bigger calipers (gsr) and a bigger disk brake (11") without too much work.
rear brake
I guess the simpliest way is to swap the gsr complete trailing arms.
I don't mean to ask too much question, I just not able to find samples specially of 94-95 ex couple in the forum.
Thanks

I also have a 94 EX coupe..... gsr brakes will do the car justice. I think the calipers off the Ex may be the same as the gsr its just that the GSR has bigger rotors.... also what makes a difference is if you have currently rear disc on your car... if not you would have to get a proportional valve because you will lock up in the front since you would have a 70front/30rear braking diameters A proportional from either a 92-95 Ex with/optional rear disc or a Si model have the valve that would make it 50/50
if you look around you can find GSR front and back for 300-350 depending. which in the braking world is most bang for the buck!
