you didnt open any brake lines or bleeder valves did you? If so there may be air in the system and it will need to be bled.

Technically everytime you install brake pads you should open the bleeder screw when you are depressing the caliper piston back into the caliper. This will ensure that there is no air trapped and it will also get rid of the fluid thats been in there. Try bleeding your brakes first off, if that doesn't solve the problem then it could be one of the seals internally leaking in your master cylinder.

do not open ur bleeder screw when changing ur brake pads if u do air gets it what u could do is open ur master cylinder so that the fluid spills out if u dont want fluiding spillin' out u can use a baster(kitchen utensil) and suck some of out of ur m.c.

sounds like a busted caliper. check the caliper piston for a bust rubber seal and if fluids comin' out of it

OK LET ME BE MORE CLEAR, when you open the bleeder screw have a bleeder bottle hooked up to it that way you dont get air in the lines i thought that would be sort of self explanatory but maybe not to mr honda technician who can not justify his reasons

doubt thats it casue that just to provide vacuum to the booster it would just become overly stiff but wash it out with sopa and water if it makes you feel better

ok as far as b. booster when they go bad ur brakes lock....this means anything in ur booster and the hose connect to it(booster have no fluids going though it) it might be ur m.c did u check the rear hose caliper & or wheel cylinder since a sponge pedal equals air in ur system somewhere were fluid is present

and about the bleedin while ur changin' pads that stuff will get u fired at a shop
