uberdata-emanage-hondata?....which one?
okay im down to get any one of these but just need to figure somethings.
Does uberdata hook up to a computer or you have to take the chip off every time and use the rom burner? and where is the site to set this all up.
ok emanage...does the setup come with the software and the pc link cable or do you have to buy that separate.
Hondata...who makes this and where do I get this from. And is this the best one compared to all others.

Uberdata is watered down hondata. i.e. Hondata without half the features and pretty interface. eManage is GReddy's sorry excuse for a fuel management system. It basically tricks your stock ecu into adding/substracting fuel based on your map sensor value.

no u cant plug it up, but its called data logging, gettinga wide band o2 and dataloggin with help with that, to answer ur question yes u have to insert a new chip each time.. save ur self some cash with the greddy and hondata and try out the uberdata.... even though it doesn't include all of the features hondata has it soon will from talkign and reading sites....... do some searches and check out the site i posted there good to start off with. if i where u i woud go with uberdata alot cheaper then hondata and if ur not capable of the install and changing maps i'm sure peeps here would do it for half the cost of other system...

okay i decided to go with the hondata but now I have even more questions about it. The hondata s200 is the one i will need but then its got all these optional stuff like datalogger, boost, g sensor, romulator, rev limiter, rom programmer...etc which ones would i need if i just want to tune it myself...and what does the others do for me?
okay now I think the hondata is just too complicating and I think might lean towards the greddy blue box...I think is complicating because you have to purchase all these optional equipment to be tuned by a laptop and also have a rom burner to change the rom chip. What do others think?
The blue box is junk.
E-Manage is like a SAFC, except it allows you to control timing too. Also probably not what you want.
So, the decision comes down to Uberdata or Hondata. Uberdata isn't really "watered down" very much; I can only think of a few features that Uberdata does not have. For the price, you can't argue with it.

uberdata is good also, but do not at all choose emanage. If you really want to have full programmable features, I suggest you look into AEM EMS - it's really like the other fuel management systems (hondata, uberdata) but you have free reign for what you want and what you don't want to have on it.
Hers a good thread I started about a month or two ago....really good according to the topic of your post.

is there any software similar to uberdata or ghettodyne that works for obd2 cars? poor college kid with no money for ems or e-manage. i don't want to convert to obd1 because of emissions testing here. i'm currently running the afc hack and just want to change my timing map.

Not too sure about obd2 stuff but, why cant you just convert to obd1 and run uberdata.. And when you want to go through emissions just put your obd2 ecu back in..

money is the issue, i would love to convert to obd1 but the cost of another ecu and harness aren't in my budget. thanks for the reply.
can someone tell me why uberdata wouldn't work on my obd2 chip when all i want to alter is my ignition timing?

the whole idea of getting a stand alone system is to have full control over your tuning
if it sounds "too complicated" for you, maybe you should let the stock ECU do its own thing for now...
sorry if i sounded like an ***

Huh..
obd2-obd1 converter is $130 shipped from
http://jkobdconversionharness.....html
A p28 is like $100 and you can chip it yourself or go to an electronic store to get it done.. Or find a already chipped p28..
Not sure how big your budget is but the only other thing thats around this price is the msd btm which is $165 + shipping from jegs..

well i'm tryin to get all my stuff together so i can boost but all i have left is management. i plan to run around 10 lbs on my y7. lets say if i were to convert to obd1, i would then still have to buy a rom burner. i'm trying to solve the afc hack issue of over advance ignition timing as cheaply as possible.
i'm not asking if i should conver to obd1
i'm not asking 7thGear if he thinks i don't know what i'm talking about
i'm asking if there is a way i can burn roms for my obd2 ecu
thanks for your replies guys
