Tint removal help!!

Default Tint removal help!!

I took off my old tint and it left a nasty glue film on my window. What should i use to get it off?

theres a product at kragens called "tint off". its an adhesive remover

fully spray the inside of the window with windex, get a big black trash bag and make it 2 pieces, lay the one half on the entire inside of the window, do the same to the other side, let it set out in the sun for like a good 45 mins, then take off the trash bag, and peel a corner of the tint with your finger nail or a razor blade and pull it off, should come right off, use some type of adhesive remove and a rag to get the rest of the remaining adhesive from the tint.

that's how my tint came off.

i use to work at dealership, and we cleaned all windows with a razor blade.

taking tint off is a biotch

soapy water and razor blade is all you need. Tint is two layers, the 1st layer rips off clean, but it leaves behind an adhesive. Keep the window wet with the soapy water and just cover every inch with the razor blade. Doesn't take too long, an hour or so for the whole car.
