red - ignition switched 12 volts
white - lights or dimmer
black - ground
green - tach signal

there is also a tach wire that runs to the back of your cluster. i dont know the color of it off the top of my head but if you pull your cluster and the wire will be located on the farthest LEFT plug you take out. the wire will run to a slot that doesnt have a gold line running into it on your cluster(asumming your cluster doesnt have a factory tach)

It's the blue wire on the left plug of your cluster.
