Default Driver side headlight keeps blowing out! **PICS**

I have a 2000 Civic LX 4DR, and it's been about a week with my new light and it has already blown! I can only use the high beam and the low beam comes on when I knock it every now and then it will come on. I've had 2 nokia bulbs blown in the same headlight. Now my MTEC Golden style bulb blew, think it's a ground problem? there is a little of condensation in the housing, but I knew a guy with water in his headlight and it was fine. The bulb is a 12v 100/90W. Don't know if I should get the nokya wire harness or what

Looks like something new, check out the pics what the **** happened?!

wtf?

well like its been said these bulbs heat up big time and you need to make sure that your fingers dont leave any oils on them or they will burn out due to them heating up on the surface.

Sorry guys, that's not a finger print. I made extra carefull not to trouch the bulb. It looks to me that is the spot where the low beam blew. you can see where there is black burn marks in the back. This is bulb number 3. I know all about finger touching. Cool thing is these bulbs come with a 1 year warrenty. I'm sending this one back now. funny thing is the high beam still works! if it's about the wattage being too high maybe a new wire harness for the light would work?

try to replace the wire harness, and like they said the fuses and then switch to a lower wattage. had the same problem with the light flickering on and off. had to tap the housing for the light to come on. a five dollar wireharness and it's been fine since. just my 2 cents.

Put that bulb up on Ebay and some artist or photographer will pay some cash for it.
