Default Exedy clutch vs. ACT clutch.....

Just found out today i need a clutch badly.

anyways i need a clutch asap. i've heard/read positives and negatives about both. i have a stock set-up, and don't race. just need a clutch that will not have problems down the road, and not wear too quickly. i' keeping the car till she croaks.

i've seen Exedy organic go for $260 cheapest. i've seen ACT HD go for $389 cheapest.
obviously, price is an issue here, but should i pay the extra for the ACT? is there a reason it's more? this is what most people are telling me to do.

thanks!

i can tell this whole clutch thing is a very debatable topic here. i just want reliability and a good grab. not racing so i don't need rediculous grab.

anyways, tell me this:

is the grab of the ACT HD-SS stronger than the Exedy Organic?
will one spin the tires easier, especially if going into second?

any clutch is strong enough to hold the stock power its how you work the clutch to make it "chirp" the tires when shifting.

If your stock then get a stock clutch from Acura.

I just put an Exedy Organic in my car 2 weeks ago...picked it up for $265 shipped. So far I love it. I can chirp third gear easily....the thing catches pretty damn hard. So far so good with exedy...i'll be sure to post up any probs i come across...hopefully none (knock on wood).
