H22 integra, distributor wiring question
I have an OBD2.5 wiring harness and I have an OBD1 H22. Started cliping everything up.. then ran into the problem of my distributor. IT DOESN CLIP UP!! AHHH... totally forgot about that. So is there a way where I can splice and solder the H22 clip to the GSR harness?? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this?
Also, will I have any extra clips hanging around since my harness is an OBD2.5?
Thanks in Avanced!!

here ya go, just made it a couple weeks ago. Just cut the plug off and covert your engine harness using the OBD1 plugs, or you can use the OBD2 plug cutting off the OBD1 distributor plug and simply match what is on here:
Okay, started working on it.. and realized that the OBD2.5 harness (which im using) is different than the OBD2. The OBD2.5 is missing one wire... hooked up every following the diagram except that couple of the wires are different colors. Also I think the wire thats not hooked up is the RPM sensor one on the distributor side. Any ideas??

Everything will work except the tach. You need to add the wire from the ICM (inside the dist.) in order for your tach to work. That's the BLUE wire, btw.
Reason is the OBD2.5 cars get their tach feed from the ECU, while all previous generations get it from the ICM.
The prong is there, you just need to tap into it neo. or, I can tell you where the prong is, but you have to tap into it. heh heh

I'm kind of confused. When I hooked up my aftermarket tach in my 2001 GSR, I used the green wire on the distributor. But now the green wire isnt hooked up to the RPM singal, its hooked up to something else on the OBD1 distributor. And now I have an extra BLUE wire coming from the OBD1 distributor, which I'm pretty sure is my RPM signal.
My question is if I wired the distributor up correctly, and where should I connect the BLUE wire from the OBD1 distributor to?

PS Thanks Jeff, your info did help a bit

What is the green wire on the distributor hooked up to?
If the green wire on your tach is the RPM signal, then it needs to go to the blue wire on the OBD1 distributor.

I beleive the green wire is hooked up to my CKP? I heard the CKP is located behind the crank pulley on OBD2.5 cars. Is this true??

CKP = Crank Position Sensor which is inside the dizzy.
The sensor you are referring to near the crank pulley is the CKF (Crank Fluctuation Sensor). That is on US OBD2 motors only.
