Inline pump or intank pump with FMU IN 94 CX HATCH pump never changed.
Need help 94 cx hatch with b16. I have a fmu that i will use when i start boosting but the intank pump is the same cx pump that came with car. Should i go 255lph intank and fmu or inline pump with stock cx pump and fmu. I will be boosting about 6-7 on stock b16 bottom.
You need to run an inline with fmu setup. The inline is needed to support the high fuel pressure the fmu makes
for example 12.1 fmu x 7 psi = 84 + whatever your idle fuel pressure is lets say it's 40 = 124 psi.
If you eventually go with standalone you'll want to run and intank

OK an inline with a fmu but i still got the stock cx pump for my intank. will a stock cx pump and inline pump give sufficient fuel.

no..it will be fine..it won't hurt you, it will only help..now that stock cx pump will kill ya if you keep it in there..

FMUs are garbage. Spend the money on a chip burner and use uberdata. Or that other program if you're OBD0 (turboedit?)

I ran a stock b18c1 w/ revhard stage 2 kit w/ inline pump, fmu, and stock vx fuel pump. Ran it as a daily driver for about a year with no problems. 274whp at 9psi, stock ecu/injectors. I added the 255 intank later on for a lil peace of mind. Ran both the intank and inline w/ no problems for about 3years. I'm gonna be running a 1:1 fpr with aem ems now though. Hope that helps.
