Default zex on an 88 'lude

Hey, I want to put a 75 shot of zex on my 88 prelude (b20a5), I have an intake and and a muffler, no biggie... I just want to know if this is safe (190,000 miles) and if i should use 87, 89, 91 or 92 octane??

Thanks a Lot!,
-Brent

You hsould do a compression check to know for sure, You might want to run colder plugs too and use the highest octane u can get. if u run slicks with it you should break into the 13's

so long as the engine is in decent shape it'll hold up just fine. I had the NOS on mine for a while and i had over 180k's on my engine. held up just fine.

well I guess I better get rid of my 89 lude then.... Its so old that it will probably fall apart as soon as my 600 hp H22 starts to spool-up!!!

ugh..that thing is so beastly..

anyway, if you wanna safely run nitrous, rebuild the motor (i'm assuming its FI), and make sure its in top working condition before you over stress it.

i seriously recommend a re-build or a new car. it just wont hold up. but if you really want to do it, check compression, timing, tuning and make sure you're getting enough fuel for the size shot you're running. hope everything wokrs out.

If the motor can take it, you better start worring about the clutch.
