patrick at precision said it would spool as quick if not quicker than the 60-1/t3 and also it is much more powerful. hybrid901 also said that his sc61 was moving alot more air than his previous hifi 60-1. If i remember like .4 leaner. Its a killer turbo i would definitely want that over the 60-1

The SC61 is rated to flow 60lbs/min+ where the 60-1 is rated around 55lbs/min. Just for comparison sake a T61 is rated @ around 60lbs/min as well so u can get an idea how much more air this turbo flows. Whats great about it though is its ability to spool up as fast as a 60-1 and is also more efficient. The turbo will flow more air, spool up as fast, be more efficient, and be able to push more boost then a 60-1. That is why the SC61 is the new "hot" turbo for high hp hondas. like 2.0L said talk to Arturbo about getting one.

I loved my sc61 for the 2 days I had it on. My dumbass just didn't retune when I changed turbos and beat a rod bearing. I'm very very happy with my sc61 compared to my 60-1hifi.

I am also going to run the SC61.. I have it here, but its not on the car yet. To put it bluntly---I spoke with Jim, the engineer at Precision who built my turbo. He said its good for 630 crank hp and will spool around 3700-- this is also a 4bolt T350 turbine (one of the first if not the first). Im hoping to make 500 whp on my LS with it.
And yes. Art is the one who took care of me..and he'll take care of you too if you wish to purchase one.

Im sure I will have either dyno results or 1/4 mile results when i get it on.

I thought the 60-1 was rated at 60lb/min and the 60 trim to4e was 57lb/min. I could be wrong though. The hi-fi 60-1 is about 10-15% less efficient than the full size 60-1. I'll check the book tomorrow for the exact numbers on those two.

depends whose books u r looking at. My turbonetics catalog has the 60 trim @ 50lbs/min and the 60-1 @ 55lbs/min.

I always thought it was: 52lbs/min 60 trim, 60 lbs/min 60-1.

Yes, that is correct sir. This is coming from the tech who actually assembled my turbo at Precision--after telling him what compression and displacement my motor is.
Im so stoked. Got my Full-Race manifold today....woohooo! Oh, but that doesnt matter--those manifolds dont make power, sheesh

Hope you guys know what I mean about the last statement

His was prety much a custom turbo we had made for Dan. Its bascially a garret 4-bolt casting and not precision's.

SC63 is the new super duper pimp turbo from precision. Actually, its custom and was made specifically for SFP and MotorMatrix has one. They could probably make it for u but this turbo is geared for those who wanna make even more power then the SC61.
