I unlock my trunk by presing the unlock button twice on the remote, then when i go to open the latch the trunk wont lift up. The latch does slide to the left but the trunk wont open....help

Go to the driver's door and unlock the dors from there. Does it open now?

 

Have you replaced the antenna? When I converted my antenna to the S2K unit, I left a connection loose and couldn't open my hatch either. It would pop loose, but no completely release so it could be lifted. Found connection and problem solved.

 

When mine sticks (all the time), I put the key in and turn it while sliding the latch to open it. Works everytime

I have the same problem. Acura tried to fix it but it is still a problem. But it's cool because you have to open the trunk a certain way. Only a few know how to open it

it opens with the key if i turn it enough, but it still becomes locked sometimes. I think my motor is jacked, its not letting the latch lose..

what year is ur car? cuz i kno the trunk latch changed after a certain year... so i'm not sure which one u are referring to, but i'm guessin the newer one... and you say it won't werk with ur remote? do you have an alarm with an actuator hooked up to the hatch latch?

 

What Acura did for me when it was under warranty was replace the solenoid that controlled the latch. This kind of helped it for me. I think it was a $125 part plus labor or something. i dun have my receipt but that seemed to resolve it.
