Who makes these? How much do they cost? Are they almost as good as Mugen?

 

Konig makes one in their Mozart line of exhausts. Not sure on pricing, but it's probably less than the $499 that the real piece is.

I've heard from others that soudn quality is good, but overall quality isn't so hot (at least it used to not be hot). I guess welds were known to fall apart.

I have the real thing and it's the nuts. Perfect sound, great quality, low key looks.

 

i found a Ractive one at the local salvage yard once....

 

i wouldn't mind the Ractive MTL-style muffler if it weren't for the 4.5" tip they stuck on it. kind of ruined the whole quiet sleeper muffler motif.

 

i just cut the tip off and painted it black

 

mugen twin loop replica's are crap. Get the real thing. It is expensive but well worth it if the "downlow" muffler is your thing (like me ) Plus you'll get all the girl..."wow you have a mugen twin loop!!! let's kiss"

 

Thats reason enough, the extra ***** I'll get from Japanese girls with the real thing is worth it IMO...

why is the article about a replica twin loop, but all the pics are of the real one? Do you know where that guy got his replica twin loop? I'm interested in something like the MTL or the Mozart Evolution (twin loop knock-off), but i'm not sure if i want to shell out $500+ for the MTL.

 

I had won on my civic at one time and Im kicking myself for trading it. Its sweet. I dont know what brand it was but it sounded great. Iam have been wondering the same thing about were to get one. The only problem I had was it sometimes fell of the exhaust hanger But it was worth it.
