Hey guys I was looking around the SER forum and Ran into a topic about Royal Purple 5-30 Motor oil.... anybody used this stuff .. they were saying it seemed to burn off a little more the regular motor oil did.... why thoughts ?

i heard from couple people who used it and theysaid it sucks *****. stick with mobil one oil , its the best!! (in my opinion)

yeah, my friend's neighbor's pool guy's dog's mother's owner said royal purple sucks too

seriously, i used it in my trans-am, no complaints at all. i run mobil 1 in my honda though, just because royal purple is more expensive.

I ran through 4 quarts of it at Willow and almost blew my motor. Never again.

but then again, i used red line oil and there is adifferents, but my motor eats that **** in 1000 miles, where i have to put in 4 qts of oil. as in mobil one i just put in 2 qt every other week. so red line is good too. but Mobil one is the best

i use mobil one also good shiet been beating the hell out of my car for 3 weeks already n still the oil cleaner than what i used to use.........wolfs head baby on the sohc

I would say stick with mobil 1 syn... or AMS oil... AMS is the shiat!!!

ive heard bad things about it, but never experienced them first hand, so I would say use whatever kind you want

we dyno'd 4.1 more hp woth royal purple but my pop's believes it was the cool down time, hell i dunno but it sure sounds impressive for oil
