Bolts for Engine Stand
I have searched under this topic to produce mediocre results...I have learned a 12mm extra fine thread bolt will fit...But where to find these is another question. I spent my entire Saturday driving all over my town...Any help would be very appreciated.
Local hardware store.
12x1.25 (thread pitch) for the very top holes.
length....probably around 70mm or 80mm
And then getting a really long bolt with nut and washers for the very bottom holes (no threads).
If you can't find anything for the top holes, I can get them for you...I've found my local hardware store that meets all my needs.

Honestly, I have gone everwhere around here...Home Depot, Do It Center, Lowes...Even tried Pep-Boys and PAW. Found the right threads...But not length.
If you could get the bolts, I'd send you some cash yO!

Napa is the one place I didn't think of...
Now before I go back, does anyone know the EXACT specs I need? So I don't walk in and mutter off random bullshit?

I think I'd actually try 95mm or 100mm length instead of 80mm (3" just doesn't seem like enough).
I know that the bolts used for the front LCA shock forks are just right in length. So if you can crawl under the car and take a quick measurement, that should tell you how long.

Can you get me a quick measure of the engine stand's lengths? It'll make getting the bolts a lot easier and accurate. Your stand might be a little different.
I cut about 1/2" of material off the arms on the engine stand and then I was able to attach it with the tranny bolts. Hack saw + 5 minutes and you're done. Sounds ghetto, but like you, I can't find a source for fine metric hardware anywhere near me . After 2 weeks of looking for these stupid bolts, I just wanted to get started o the damn motor.
Oh, and for the lowers, you can use just about bolt since the holes are not threaded. I used long SAE carriage bolts with big flat washers on both sides of the block.

Goto home depot and get a big bolt rod or what ever its called. Its just like a rod with threads. Get the right thread and pitch and cut it the right length. Then get some nuts to fit over it. Thats what I did for the bottom hole that goes all the way threw.
Ok, I cant cut what is already 2 inches long...That's just not enough support. And besides I don't have tranny bolts lying around anywhere. I have a block...That's it.
