B18 crx shift linkage prob, i have no shift gate
I took a 91 teg shift linkage assembly cut and welded the stabilizer rod.
Took the actually gear selector rod and cut it down and welded a nut on it put all thread through that and welded a nut on the end that the goes to the tranny. Thus, making adjustable linkage.
Problem is it doesnt feel right AT ALL.
I search 3 pages of under the query 'shift linkage' with no avail.

My adjustable HCP (I think its HCP) linkage feels the same way. feels like every gear is in nuetral. Hasport has the EF8 shiftlikange's that should work well

I fixed it...put a jam nut in there and tightened it.
You got have it SUPER tight in order to give you the 'gated' feel

all you had to do is cut 2 1/2" from both of the rods make a shot weld to see if you have it lined up right then go back and finsh welding it up
