Shift Linkage /stabilizer
Having a little trouble with shift linkage , came off while i was driving, had to tie it up to get my car back home, seems like the top peice of the shifter that holds it in place came out the rubber shift stabilizer rubber boot , should i try to Just put back In ? Or replace everything else?

Re: Shift Linkage /stabilizer
It seems like when i put the front part of the linkage next to the pin it pulls the spread open metal peice through the rubber stabilzer..

I am guessing you are looking for 18. You can still find that at many stores.
The actual linkage is a dime a dozen, since they are usually replaced during swaps. I have 2 extra sets.

Re: Shift Linkage /stabilizer
Yes i will get the number #18 peice and nother shift linkage as well. So after i took it out i decided the linkage should be fine . if i Put it back Into the number #18 peice.. Should Hold it Up since it didnt rip or anything.. So i put back in then when i bolt back on the bolt next to the Pin , it Kinda Pulls the metal opening peice out the #18 peice making it kinda sketchy on driving... So after i put it back seems like theres alot of play In the gears also.. Didnt have this problem b4. Just got this car about a week ago.. Do u think by switching linkage and bushings b Good ?

If part #19 is rusted out, I'd replace it, if that is what you are saying. I haven't seen that on CRX's but Civics I have.
I can't tell you about the gears. It could be internal to the tranny, but I'd try the bushing. Additionally make sure the linkage is nice and tight. There shouldn't be any play in the joint.
