Haha...I think so too...yours does look smaller though. Did you have to do a lot of cutting? I sure did.

how tall is that filter? heightwise, is it smaller than your average K&N?
it looks mushroomed, my filter doesn't clear much.

Pat: Yeah, these "flanges" can be found at Home Depot. It's in the irrigation section.
Bom: I'm not sure how tall it is, but I can measure it once I get home from school.

[QUOTE]Maybe if it was an HKS one then I wouldn't replace it...[QUOTE]
HKS isn't any better. Foam sucks!
I ordered one of those Accel Kool Blue filters to replace the one that came with my Greddy kit. It's been on back order for a couple of months. I have an excessive amount of time on my hands, so I had Accel send me a printout of their filter dimensions and made mockup filters out of cardboard to find out which was the largest they make that would fit. If anyone's interested, I chose part number KUC0805: 80mm flange diameter, 175mm base, 100mm top, 127mm length or...3 1/8" flange, 6 7/8" base, 3 15/16" top, 5" length. It's similar to a K&N filter, but supposedly filters better, the price is reasonable and it's blue. I know Apexi is the best, but they're expensive if you buy one with their flange. I wish I would've known about the Home Depot method!
