I searched on this topic and didnt find too much info.
I have a GE sleeved C5 block which I will be building for a turbo application and I also have a B20a crank lying around so I was curious if anyone had done this with custom rods and pistons before?
This is assuming the crank is totally balanced.

Isn't the B2 crank the same as the B18A/B crank? I believe you just use LS/B20 rods with that crank in a C5 block.

 

The B20a crank is from the earlier preludes and is way different than the B18a/b/B20b/z cranks. I believe the b20a blocks also had a girdle across the main caps. The b18a/b and b20b/z cranks will go into the b18c5 block, but i'm not sure about the b20a crank.

 

b20a != b20b or the b20z. The b20a is out of the old old prelude 2.0 dohc. Its a pos. I believe the b20b/b20z cranks are the same as the b18a/b18b. (correct me if im wrong)

Although crower used to use the b20a crank (with some machining i think) to fit in a b16/b18 with special rods...and it would increase the displacement .2. So a 1.6 -> 1.8 and a 1.8 -> 2.0.

I really dont know what you need..crower doesnt use that crank anymore in thier stroker kits because its hard to get ahold of.

I would not ask the question if I wasnt sure that the crank would go into the block. The answer is yes it will fit the block.

The B20a is from a 88-91 prelude and has a longer stroke than the B20b/z.

B20A motor is a 2.0L with a 81mm bore , the B20B+Z is a 2.0L with a 84 mm bore. Yes the crank has a longer stroke , I 'm not sure who has the pistons and rods for it.
And I belive the question was not " is the B20A motor good?"
I'm sure someone out there will have the anwser , and not just make stuff up they know nothing about.

 

I just said crower made a stroker kit for that [b18a] crank in a b16 b18 motor...or maybe you didnt read that?
