My new stopping stuff
With the help of my friends Cody and Anthony we installed my Brembo cross-drilled/slotted rotors, Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines, funky named pads, and flat blacked my calipers. I had Hawk pads, but found out they were the wrong ones when we were almost completely done so I had to settle with Autozone metallic "sport" pads. I need to bleed them a few more times but it feels pretty good. I mainly went with the rotors for the bling bling factor if anyone wants to know why
. Install was pretty straight forward. Nothing really hard to do but spend like 30 min on the passanger side rear pad install because I bent one of the clips and one stripped rotor screw which we drilled out
. Besides that everything was pretty easy. And I replaced my bling bling chrome lug nuts with black ones.

My beat up stock rotors with 61,xxx miles and a few races on them.

If you look closely you can see where we tried to heat the rotor screw up with the blow torch

looks nice, but be prepared for minor flames.. maybe.
cross drilled and slotted rotors have been heavily debated.

He's happy with them and that's all that matters.

They're not any better than stock rotors, but he did it for aesthetics not increased braking performance.

if anything at all he will now have minor (negligable) less surface area for the pads to cause friction on, but no real performance degrade...unless the rotors are heavier

Do you notice a BIG increase in stopping power with those? Are they worth the money?!?
Since the slotted and x-drilled don't do much in terms of performance.... what is a recommended aftermarket rotor??? or is it better to just stick with the stock rotors??

And for those who ask were they worth it, worth relies in the buyer. To some the price of these rotors could have gotten me 2 or 3 sets of regular rotors, but that wouldn't make ME happy. In the end, I think they were worth it. No rust and bling bling
