i have the same problem w/ my 93 hatch. it does it around 80 mph. i think it is my steering column bearing. i can not find anything loose in my frony end. i've balanced my tires plenty of times still no good. when i go over bumps slow it sounds like crap. i've lived w/ it so far.
everytime i turn the steering wheel to the L or R, it sqeaks.......... could it be the powerstearing? or just something loose..... its louder inside the car, then the outside........

when i hit 65+m.p.h. on my 98 civic the steering wheel shakes like ****... Can anyone help me?
same thing with my car, also when i hit bumps it squeaks anyone know what thats about?
Sorry, couldn't resist
on me ..... Seriously though, the shaking is probably balance/alignment/hub centering (everything said before). For the squeaking, make sure everything is tight and or not rubbing..... after that I'd just go to town w/ a can of spray silicone and if it still didn't go away I'd just live with it and crank up the radio..
