JDM EG6 headlights install..
Yes. It depends on how you want them wired up.
You can wire them up to a switch if you want your headlights/corners to come on as normal..
OR
You can have it as the EG6 wiring has it from factory. (Where the corners/side markers function ONLY for turn signal), and city lights being turned on as your parking lights.
You can do this by cutting the parking light wire (I cannot remember the color coded wire off hand for some reason), and wire that directly to the City light.
The JDM corners are single filament bulbs and come on during turn signal, parking lights are as city lights, and the rest are how the USDM civics are.

hey wussap doug, u prolly got 'em wired up already but...
red/blk stripe is the parking light wire
and to get the sidemarkers to blink and stay solid - wire + to the parking light and - to the turn signal hot, it'll cancel out and blink when u turn [it blinks opposite of the f/r t-signals]

easier way to do the corner bulbs is..... On the acutal bulb there are two ***** that stick out....1 is for the day time running lights...the other for the turn signal. I was told that if you take a piece of eletrical tape and cover one of the ***** than the lights will only have 1 connection...so its either running lights or signal. Just try it out and if you covered the wrong one..peel off the tape and tape the other ****. So now the connection for the running lights is broken and which wont turn them on until you signal. No rewiring required.
How do you wire the parking light up? Also how do you wire side markers to blink only when turn signal is activated.

The way JDM corners are wired up -- they are supplied with City lights, turn signal corner, and turn signal marker.
- To have your city lights on instead of your corner parking lights, you will want to cut the parking light wire, and wire it directly to the City Light.
- To have your city lights on AND your corner parking lights (which I think is dumb), you simply SPLICE into the parking light wire, thus when they are turned on both of them will be on.
For Side Markers:
- If you want them on ONLY during turn signal -- one of the side marker wires goes to the TURN SIGNAL wire, and GROUND only. Thus when you turn on the turn signal, it will complete the circuit when the turn signal is on.
- If you want them on with parking lights AND turn signal (which is lame) -- one of the side marker wires goes to the PARKING LIGHT and TURN SIGNAL. No wire to the ground at all.
- If you want them on only with your parking lights (which is very lame) -- one of the side marker wires goes to the PARKING LIGHT and the GROUND. That's it.
Pretty simple stuff, you just have to grasp the concept on which wires are which on the us corner harnesses.
Original JDM cars have the side markers and corners with turn signal only. Parking lights are the city lights.
During the night, only the city lights and headlights are on (corners and side markers are off).

Nothing to see here, just leeching on to the topic to place into my recent posts after finally pulling it up through the search
ok, quick question...
you could feasibly just use the jdm headlights with your stock usdm corners. you would jut use the curent H4 bulb wiring harnessandplug it into the H4H bulb and your headlights will work the same as the usdm ones, correct?
just checking, thanks.

all i was asking is whether the headlight harness thats in my car right now will plug into the H4H bulb and work properly. for the moment, im not worried about wiring the corners to the city lights and all that, jsut want the headlighs to work. the stock usdm corners (didnt get jdm corners) will stay wired the way they are now.

I don't believe it will work, if the H4H harness will not work I doubt it will work vice versa. Give it a try though, you may be able to bend the prongs in to slide in.
