99-00 front end conversion for 96-98 Civic.
Will a 99-00 front end fit on a 96-98 Civic. Is this easy to change? will the headlights fit? anyone done this? Is it easy?

Man your hoping this is easy huh?
Well, you need Fenders, Hood, Headlamps, Bumpercover and (if being true to the full conversion) radiator support bracket.
They are expensive. 700+

I've asked about this before... I think it's pretty straight forward (I decided not to just for the hell of it...) but you need the front bumper, fenders, headlights, and hood... everything else (from the fenders back and all underneath) is supposed to work fine.
anyone care to correct me on this?

its basically the same thing. the headlights are different on the 99s
I say you should look into an integra front end conversion!! That would be nice...
I know thats been a subject before.
go to my thread about my front end. it cost me about 1500 for parts including a cf hood, Spoon Mirrors and a type R wing along with the front end.
yeah, and my car has 2 little vents on the sides of the air dam

96-98 has a bigger opening for a FMIC anyways.

Its pretty easy.. its not to hard, just takes an hour or two...I did it to my 98 civic.. but after a while i changed it back to the 98 front end because i missed it and i think the 96-98 front end gives off a more cleaner look..
everything is pretty much bolt on and except for the front bumper... a little cutting in involved when placing the bumper on.. and some drilling... but once you get get to the part where you need to put on your bumper its pretty much common sense on what you need to do.. and the whole thing about a radiator support, its really not needed..
All radiator supports are the same on 96-00 civics... someone correct if i'm wrong.. they're all the same except for the fact of where the two little metal rectangle pieces of metal is, its welded on to the radiator support at certain points for 96-98 and 99-00 but not to far part. i just drilled a hole into mine and had no problems
Because i bought a raditor support just in cause i needed it for my conversion but i didn't need it and the end result was good, everything went flush

So your saying you dont need a new hood and fenders? just cut a bit and its good? I just cant stand the 96-98 headlights, I love the 99-00 ones.
You need 99-00 Headlights, fenders, hood, and bumper. The body lines are COMPLETELY different. You cannot just put 99-00 Headlights on your car with a 96-98 front bumper, hood and fenders.
