I miss TOO. This system works well (not perfect) and keeps you smog legal.
I'm extremely pleased with my DIY oil catch can. I catch ~1/8 - 1/4 cup of oil every 3,000 miles and this is on a NA stock motor.
hey i have an ls vtec and it has the stock catch tank on the back of the block
i jus purchaced a cusco catch tank and i thought that you put it between the tube that comes from the crank case to the intak pipe am i wrong
from your pic i think you have to disconect the hose on top of the catch tank (stock ) and run the one that comes out of the stock tank to one end of the cosco one and then connect the return line to the tube that was connected to the top of the stock tank
sorry i am confused don't mean to bother you

Hopefully this diagram from the Helms manual will clear things up.

hey do i take the original pcv valve off when i put the new on on the catch tank (ford truck )
thanks
thanks
Tip: use trans-cooler line instead of the clear Home Depot tubing or fuel line. The trans-cooler line is reinforced and will hold up better over time.
I have a question for you though...if your block has a factory catch can already, why add another?

You can buy trans-cooler line at Autozone or Pepboys.

thats what im reading so far.. but will the vaccum be strong enough by the time it reaches the catch can. so far this is what i see...
from the black canister on the back of the block..to the "relocated pvc" on the catch can..then back into the intake.
