I need a resistor box for P/H injectors. I wonder which Honda models that I could get one from. I have access to some old Hondas (pre 90s). TIA

 

88-91 CRX Si and HF for sure.

I pulled mine of a 92-95 Prelude

 

96 prelude has them as well...same engine/injectors as the 92-95 lude

 

Basically any Honda/Acura before 1992 that is fuel injected will have one.

I have gotten a few of mine from accords, but where are they located on older civics? I searched in the junkyard, but couldnt find them.

 

how about 4 10 watt 10 ohm injectors DIY.

Any chance that RadioShark's resistors burn out?

 

thats why you buy the high power resistors rated at 10 watts, those wont burn out unless you do something very wrong....besides, what do you think is inside of a resistor box?? To be sure the heat wouldnt effect mine, I bought a little project box and some high temp epoxy, then encased all of the resistors in epoxy. Sure, if one burns out I have to replace the whole box, but it adds a lot of protection for engine heat. Totaled about $10 (less than you will pay for a used resistor box...)

 

Resistor boxes are 5 bucks at the junkyard.
