Install some ITR pistons and ARP rod bolts, build your head, depending if you want low and mid-range or top end power, get a single runner ITR style intake manifold. No point in buying another head if you already have a good gsr one, that money can go into tranny work or a P&P.

if you find a good deal on the b16 head: get the b16 head and sell the c1 head. don't find one: stick with the c1 head. simple.

And one of the responses came from someone in this thread who didn't even build their car.

Use the money to get a port job on the gs-r head.

^^ i'd go with that idea i gotta gsr and bought a b16 head for it but never ended up doing cause i dont think its worth it unless you plan on putting more money into it, when you could just get a p&p

or if the OP dosen't want to spend the money on a PnP for the GSR head, the B16 head flows much better stock then a stock GSR

and P.S. yes i did

unless u want to use a type r manifold then keep the gsr head there really is no difference. skunk2 makes a nice manifold for the gsr head

You're right, MUCH better.

Wait, did I say MUCH better? I meant almost identical. Thanks for the misinformation though.

dude, dont get the B16 head unless you change your compression, bolting the pr3 head onto the gsr block will drop the compression due to the larger combustion chambers. its not even worth the swap IMO.

the head in stock vs stock for, the pr3 only out flows it higher up.

Oh noes! It'll drop my compression by .25, now i won't have any horsepower!

Yeah, the B16 does flow better at the top.

it already has the skunk2 IM...i put it on myself when i had the car...told the owner now that he needs to make up his mind which way he is gonna go....n/a or boosted....totally complete different builds...but i think he has more worries right now since he most likely already floated/bent a valve...and thats in 1 month of ownership.
