The proper way to perform a Compression Test.
I am going to run a compression test today and will be following this website.

My only question is that some people say to remove just the fuse for the FI Injection, and some say to pull the ECU for the ECU. What is the correct way?
Also when your done do you just hand tighten the spark plugs back in.
Anything I should watch out for?

i dont about about the other stuff u asked, but when u do plugs go snug and then a 1/4 turn.... a good rule of thumb to use is..."snug is tight, tight is broke''

I didn't read your link, but you are supposed to hold the throttle wide open when cranking for a compression test. On FI cars, doing this cuts out the injectors in case of flooding, so if you do it right it shouldn't matter, but I always pull the fuse for the fuel pump anyways. Also, make sure you do the test on a warm engine, metal expands when warm, and it will affect the results of your test.

Its kinda the same thing. I know on the c-speed link it says the fuel injection fuse, but if you look at the cover and the fuse they pull out, its the ECU fuse. So just pull that.
Hand tighten to get the threads on smooth then use the rachet. Don't go crazy but tighten it a lil more than snug.
Just put very lil oil on the compression tester so it doesn't get stuck in the motor.
