compression test FAQ clear up
So after reading some horror stories about what people have done to their motors while performing a compression test i would like for someone to clear a few things up.
#1-should i have all of the spark plugs out while performing the test or just one at a time?
#2-i should pull the ecu fuse out so that fuel is not shot into the cylinders, correct?
#3-should i disconnect the dizzy so that i dont blow the coil?
#4-should i lube the threads on the tester so that it wont get stuck?
its seems like a pretty simple procedure and im not understanding why so many people are having problems. thanks for your help in advance

Pull the ECU fuse. It will protect the coil and prevent fuel from being injected. It doesn't matter how many plugs you pull since you're only testing one cylinder at a time. Anti-seize may help if you won't want the tester to get stuck.
Make sure the test is performed with a warm engine and wide open throttle.
