Default evo 3 16g 300 WHP?

i might turbo my stock b16 this winter(motor has 4000 miles on it) and i want to use an evo 3 16g. i want to make 300-310 whp on race gas(everyone keeps telling me that i cant but i know i can) and 250-260 whp on pump gas. i just wanted to know if i can make that kind of power on the turbo i want to use and when do you guys think i will hit full boost(i am going to guess 3500-400 rpms). what do i have to change in order to make that turbo fit on a b16? i tried to do some searching but i didn't come up with much info because not many people use these turbos on hondas.

are the ebay evo 3 16gs any good?

this is a list of everything i am going to get for my turbo kit.

-Turbo(evo 3 16g)
-injectors (550 cc)
-intercooler
-Oil line kit
-Engine management(hondata s200 or s300)
-boost gauge
-boost controller
- O2 bungs for the downpipe
-custom downpipe
-custom intercooler pipes
-Blow Off Valve
-turbo manifold

i know this is not the right place to ask this question but does anyone know of any good tune shops near chicago?

thanks

Dont forget that the EVO 16g is a twin scroll turbo so you gotta find a flange for that or an adapter of some sort

i thought the evo 3 16gs were open?

The evo 8 16g is the best, cheapest, dual internally gated, divided turbo on the market for round 300 whp.

My brother has a Evo 8 big 16g on his gsr integra and it rips. If i remember right he made 270 whp with bone stock gsr, FULL 2.5 inch exhuast (and i mean resonator and a real muffler, 2.5 inch cat) on 11 lbs. Its super quiet and can pass emissions.

I myself am planning on putting a evo 8 16g on my b16. 300 whp on pump should be no problem on a bone stock engine.

It is an easy fix the wastegate flapper and wastegate hole need to be enlarged. We have the upgraded pucks and any machine shop can make the hole larger. We use a 1.200 drill.

only the new evos are twin scroll.

i used an ebay evo 3 big 16g and it lasted 28 miles
bought a real one and its been working fine for almost 2 years.

the only complaint i have with this turbo is the hot side charge pipe set up. it requires more fabrications than typical set ups IMO, not a big deal but requires some creativity.

i plan on maxing this turbo out next spring on my d series, i bet it would be a blast on a stock bottom end b series.

It shouldnt be hard at all to achieve your goals on a b16. I think you should be able to reach 280-300 hp on pump gas and what you plan on running. You might need a few unmentioned goodies, like a clutch and a fuel pump. I dont know much about the turbo but im pretty sure its good for 300 hp. Good luck with the build.

We can build you a downpipe, and if you use the 16g flanges turbo ( not the twin scroll ) we can build you a ram for it.

We got a gsr pushing 300hp out there, has been running fine for years now, tuned by factory five motorsports. Its a daily driven car, rain, snow, sleet, hail, engine is still running strong.
