check this turbo out... (has nothing to do with hondas, and its not a big turbo)
This is for our mini formula car. VATN (variable area turbine nozzle) controls the turbo. Pretty cool... and check out the compressor map, its scary to think this will spin that fast...

aerodyne chargers are cool for low boost and small motors, but they just cant hang with a conventional turbo for high boost or larger displacement motors.
its not an aerodyne turbo, its Garret. We have two turbos, a gt12 and gt15. The gt15 is the VATN turbo. Also this is not a drag car, its a formula car.
the gt12/15s should be perfect as we are capped at 610 cc. A buddy is on a team that did 118 to the wheels. When the car weighs 385 lbs, 118 is a whole lot of power. It also pulls 1.6 G

Damn, 1.6G's!!! Thats nuts... does anyone have that link to the site that had compressor maps and how to read them? there was also another good site that you entered certain values and it told you which a/r sizes and what not to use for your motor.... i hate it when i cant find a bookmark.
