when i have my windows rolled all the way down, they rattle like a bitch! does anyone else have this problem too? if you did, what did you do to fix it?

 

My windows rattle only when they are open partially. Anyways, I read that they rattle because the clips that hold the window comes off. What you need to do is open you door panel and put it back on. I think someone used silicone to keep them from coming loose.

 

Mine were rattling pretty bad last week... If you have them all the way up, does it sound like **** when you first begin to roll them down? Mine was making a funny clunk sound when I initially rolled it down. I took the door panel apart and found that 3 out of the 4 bolts that hold the power window motor to the door frame had come loose! 8 or 10mm tightened them right up and it works like a champ once again. Check into it.

 

My Window also rattles when its down.

my reson is the rubber insert. it helps the down roll down smoothly and noise free, but it keeps unseating itself periodically. its damn annoying i've "fixed it" like 4 times already, i'm about ready to glue that fuqer in there permenently. check to see if the rubber insert has come out.

post again if you have any ideas how to keep it in there..

Yup same rattling noise here, I get it even if my window is just cracked... Do you guys get a metal clank when you shut your door? They both started around the same time a few months back... time for some warranty work I guess... I hate honda/acura dealerships they all suck around seattle but I'm gettin close to 50k so I've gotta go deal with those ******

 

yeah those rubber inserts on the guide rail come off. try to tighten all the bolts too.
