Type-R wing...??
ok guys, I have a 1998 Integra GSR and I am thinking about putting a Type R wing on it. How do you take the old wind off, and can you do it yourself or do you have to take it somewhere to get it done?

You unbolt it and disconnect the harness. There is a third bolt on the driver's side. The ITR wing will not cover the extra holes for the wiring harness on the GSR wing.

Why pay someone to do it when you can just buy a plug and plug it up. Unless you want it to dissapear then you would fill it...

some truth to that... all oem USDM ITR wings have no lights on them... some aftermarket ones do and Ive only seen one JDM ITR wing with a installed factory brake light...

The holes only partially show. I don't know what color your car is but for mine I just covered the holes with a circular vinyl sticker (electrical tape works too) and it looked fine; no one ever noticed.
I used electrical tape the first time around as the wing covers more than half of the hole.
Current car, the previous owner had professionaly filled in so it was wingless, I had to drill out the mount holes again
