Your thoughts on Specialty Products Camber Kit??
What do you guys think of the ball joint replacment from Specialty Products? It says for 1.5-3.0 of negative camber. Any pros and cons of doing this instead of the full control arm? I was originally going to go Skunk2 but if I can correct my almost -2.0 degrees of camber up front with just a ball joint replacement than it would save $40.

i really don't think the skunk one is necessary cause i think their degree or correction is something like 6 that is rediculous. I've heard the specialty product camber kits are pretty decent but on groupbuycenter they are only like 5 bucks less than the ingalls. Personally i would get the ingalls.
The arms are crap on a stick if you care about negative camber. For adding positive camber I guess they are ok but if you want more negative camber go with Skunk 2s. My Specialty Products arms maxed at negative -1.5
with integra knuckes while my old style Zspeed ones max at -4.75

There are two versions of SpecProds, just like the Ingalls. If you notice, there are anchor bolts with the bottom extended outward more. These anchor bolts offer about 3 degrees of correction.
Well I would like to correct my negative camber and get it back to factory specs, I'm off almost -2.0 degrees. My toe is corrected. I'm just trying to find out if the ball joint replacement will do the job. Or do I need to go full arm replacement?

Sp camber kits are pretty good quality. I got a rear one.
Also, the Skunk2 camber kit is 6 TOTAL degress adjustment. That is, -3 to +3

Has anyone used the ball joint replacements in front to correct camber? I mean the replacement arm is cool and all but if its not really needed then why bother, right? I'm not dropped to the extreme and I don't plan to auto-x so...

I used the ball joint camber kit on my Prelude. It totally sucked. It pushed the a-arm higher since the ball joint assembly is longer. It caused the a-arms to hit the fender. I took them off the next day and just have to deal with the camber wear. As far as on my civic, I have the specialty products Pivot Mount Type kit. It seems to work just fine. I haven't had any problems with it. No squeaks and it hasn't poped out of allignment like they have been said to have done for others. Hope this helps.
Just the kind of answer I'm looking for.Is the Pivot Mount type kit the pic above?
Thanks!

No, the pivot type is in this picture. I've heard bad things about the kit shifting under very hard corrnering or hitting potholes etc. I haven't had that problem yet, but I'm sure it has happened to someone.
Just curious, why didn't you go with the replacement arms?
